HiTek Tech

Helping community leaders use tech without the stress.

Target Audience Profile

Who we're talking to and what they struggle with.

We're talking to normal folks who need their computer to work so they can run their organizations or handle their business. We don't use tech speak, and we never make them feel lost. Let's look at their exact pain points:

Segment Core Frustration Common Objection Our Answer
Seniors (45+) Waiting for grandkids to help with basic tasks like Zoom or email folders. "I'm too old for this. I'll break the machine." No judgment, small group, slow pace. Safe environments to learn.
Church Admins Spending hours typing programs or setting up recurring Zoom Bible studies. "I don't have time for a full computer course." This is 2 hours. Learn the exact shortcuts that save 10 hours a week.
Local Business Paying design fees for every event flyer or promotional message. "$88 is too expensive for basic classes." You're saving design fees forever. The class pays for itself instantly.

Voice tip: Validate that technology is confusing. Say: *"Look, tech moves fast, and it is easy to get turned around. There's no shame in that. We're going to start simple and keep it simple."*

The Core Promise

Our single, low-pressure guarantee that builds immediate trust.

The Main Guarantee

"In just 2 hours, you'll go from asking for help to doing it yourself β€” email, folders, Zoom, and PDFs. No stress, no judgment, just plain English."

Why This Promise Works:

Specific Timeframe

We tell them exactly what they're committing to: 2 hours. It's not a 6-week course that they will drop out of. It's one Saturday morning.

Focus on Outputs

We don't teach "RAM, processors, or operating systems." We list the exact outcomes: files, email, Zoom, PDFs. Things they use every single day.

Addresses Fear Directly

By saying "no stress, no judgment," we remove the embarrassment that older adults feel when asking questions about tech.

Short Social Version

Use this for social captions: "Stop waiting on your grandkids. Learn to do it yourself in 2 hours."

Landing Page Outline

2. The Empathy Hook

Goal: Make them feel seen.

1. The Clicks: Left vs. Right

Left-click is to select or open things. Right-click opens a list of options. If you get stuck, right-click and see what you can do.

2. Where did my download go?

When you save files, they go to the "Downloads" folder. Open the yellow folder icon on your taskbar, click "Downloads" on the left. Boom, there it is.

3. Copy and Paste in 1 Second

Highlight text. Hold Ctrl and press C to copy it. Click where you want it to go, hold Ctrl and press V. You just pasted it. No scrolling through menus.

4. Joining a Zoom Call

Click the link they sent. If a window pops up asking to open Zoom, click "Open Zoom Meetings." When asked about sound, click "Join with Computer Audio." You're in!

5. Spotting Email Scams

If an email says your bank account is locked, or demands money immediately via gift cards, or warns of a virus: stop. Close it. Do not click. Call a friend to double-check.

Delivery Method: Create the PDF in Canva. Save it to Google Drive. When someone comments "SEND IT" or texts you, reply with the link. Keep it manual and low-tech. It matches your day-to-day workflow.

Subject: How Pastor James saved 12 hours a week (and $150) Hey [First Name], Technology isn't just about computers β€” it's about your time. One of my students, Pastor James, runs a local church and community center. Before he took our training, he was spending hours fighting with Zoom invites and paying $150 every month for basic flyer designs. That's what confidence does for you. Our Computer Basics 101 class is this Saturday, June 6 at 11 AM CST on Zoom. Registration is $88. Call-To-Action (CTA) Strategy

How we guide seniors and local business owners to make a decision.

Older adults and busy business owners don't want to deal with multi-step signup forms or online user account creation. We make the signup process as simple as sending a text. Here are our CTA guidelines:

1. The Primary Hotline

Every single flyer, post, and email ends with: "Text 682-331-3783." It is simple, doesn't require clicking a link, and starts a real conversation. We answer personally.

2. The Cash App Method

To avoid credit card input friction, we use Cash App: $manassehel. It's fast, local, and they already know how to use it. Once they send the $88, we text them the Zoom details.

3. Low-Pressure Reassurance

If someone says they're worried about keeping up, use this response:
"Just try it once. If you log on Saturday morning and feel like it's too fast or not for you, I'll send your $88 right back. No worries. Trust."

4. Limit Choices

Do not present three different booking schedules or landing pages. Offer: a) the free PDF by text, or b) the $88 class spot. That's it. Keep it moving.

Metrics & Funnel Tracking

Simple metrics to verify if the campaign is working.

Keep tracking simple. Set up a basic spreadsheet or grab a notebook and track these exact items weekly:

Stage Metric to Track How to Measure Target Number
Awareness Social Post Comments Count "SEND IT" replies on Facebook 10+ comments
Interest Text Inquiries Incoming texts to 682-331-3783 30+ contacts
Consideration Cheat Sheets Sent Count Google Drive PDF shares sent 20+ downloads
Action Paid Students Cash App payments of $88 6 – 10 paid seats
Completion Attendance Rate Number of students logged on Zoom 80%+ attendance

Suggested Tracking Sheet Columns:

Name | Phone Number | Date Contacted | Lead Magnet Sent (Y/N) | Follow-Up 2 Sent (Y/N) | Paid (Y/N) | Attended (Y/N)

🀝 Bring-a-Friend Offer

Your highest ROI move. One post could double your registrations β€” zero ad spend.

Why This Works

Seniors and older adults do NOT want to sit in a Zoom class alone. It feels exposed. When you offer them a buddy discount, two things happen: they feel less anxious, and they become your free marketing by telling a friend. One student becomes two. Two becomes four. That's your whole class filled through word of mouth.

The Offer: Register for Basics 101 at full price ($88), and bring one friend for just $50 instead of $88. Both register together. You get more revenue, they both show up.

The Math

Single student: $88

Bring-a-friend pair: $88 + $50 = $138

You get $50 more per pair vs. one registration β€” and you double the word-of-mouth.

When to Use It

Post this May 29–31 to give it a full week of visibility before the June 3 urgency push. This is a middle-of-funnel offer β€” for people who are interested but haven't committed yet.
