HiTek Tech

Fall 2026 Series · Live on Zoom

Four Saturdays in October to stop feeling behind on technology.

Four separate two-hour classes, taught live, by a person who will not rush you and will not talk over your head. Take one, or take all four. Twelve seats each.

$88 per class. $300 for all four. Saturdays, October 3 through 24, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central.

You are not bad with computers.

Nobody ever sat down and explained it to you in plain language. That is a different problem, and it is a fixable one.

I teach these classes the way I wish somebody had taught me. Slow pace. Lots of repetition. You can ask the same question twice and nobody sighs. By the end of two hours you have actually done the thing, not just watched me do it.

These are for adults in DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Lancaster, and anywhere else you are joining from. Church volunteers, business owners, retirees, folks who got handed a laptop at work and figured it out halfway.

The four classes

Each one stands on its own. You do not need the earlier classes to take a later one.

You leave able to organize your files, clean up your inbox, sign a PDF, and join a Zoom call without calling anybody for help.

  • Where your downloads actually go, and how to find them again
  • Folders that make sense, so you stop searching every time
  • Signing and sending a PDF without printing it
  • Spotting a scam email before you click

Canva and Flyer Creation

AI Agents and Chatbots

Saturday, October 17

You leave with one working assistant that answers a question you get asked all the time.

How to pay

Card is easiest, and it is the link on the buttons above. If you would rather not use a card, you can send it by Cash App to $manassehel, by Apple Pay to 682-331-3783, or call me at 682-331-3783 and I will take it over the phone.

Put the class name in the note so I know which Saturday to save for you. Your Zoom link comes by email and text once the payment clears. I never post the link publicly.

If money is the thing standing in the way

I hold two sponsored seats in every class for people connected to a DeSoto or Cedar Hill church or nonprofit. No application, no form. Email contact@hitektech.net and just ask.

The practical details

What you need

A laptop or desktop computer and an internet connection. A tablet works for the Canva class but not for the AI ones. If your computer situation is complicated, call me before you register and we will sort it out.

Experience level

Beginner, all four. There are no prerequisites and no assumed knowledge. Computer Basics 101 helps, but you can start with any class that interests you.

Class size

Twelve people, capped. That is small enough that I can answer your specific question instead of a general one. Each class needs four people to run.

Recordings

Everyone who registers gets the recording for 30 days, whether you make it to the live session or not.

Refunds

Full refund up to 48 hours before class, no explanation needed. After that you can move your seat to another Saturday in the series or keep the recording.

If Zoom scares you

Say so when you register and I will call you the day before and get you connected. I am also on the call fifteen minutes early every Saturday for exactly this.

If you have been putting this off, October is a good month to stop.

Twelve seats per class. Registration for each one closes the Thursday before.
